We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to drive the company's business in the importing, wholesale and trading of building materials industry.

The role will play an integral part in establishing the company's vision, strategies and execution plans for growth.

Responsibilities

• Contact potential clients, build rapport and arrange meetings.
• Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives.
• Research organisations and individuals to identify new opportunities.
• Find and develop new markets and improve sales.
• Attend conferences, meetings and industry events.
• Develop quotes and proposals for clients.
• Set business growth goals and ensure they are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field.
• Experience in sales, marketing or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
• Ability to manage complex projects and multitask.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive and handle uncertainty.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Previous experience in building materials, real estate or a similar industry is a plus.
