About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Housekeeper to supervise and quality-check our housekeeping team across all of our facilities. This is a supervisory role, focused mainly on inspecting work, guiding staff and making sure our standards are met, rather than carrying out the cleaning yourself.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rooms, villas, apartments and public areas across all facilities after cleaning to ensure they meet quality and hygiene standards
• Supervise and guide housekeepers, giving clear instructions and feedback
• Check that rooms are correctly set up, stocked and ready before guest arrival
• Coordinate daily work allocation with the Head Housekeeper
• Monitor staff performance, punctuality and adherence to procedures
• Train new team members and support ongoing training
• Report maintenance issues and follow up until they are resolved
• Keep track of cleaning supplies, linens and equipment, and request restocking when needed
• Complete inspection checklists and daily reports
• Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping
• Step in to help with cleaning only when needed during busy periods

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping, ideally with some supervisory or inspection experience
• Excellent eye for detail and high cleanliness standards
• Ability to lead, motivate and correct staff in a respectful way
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to move between multiple facilities and be on your feet throughout the day
• Good communication skills in English, with additional languages as an advantage
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Driving licence and own transport are an advantage for travelling between facilities
