As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will collaborate with development teams and program managers to design and deliver innovative, high-quality software solutions. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Computer Science, or another closely related field, who hold 5+ years of experience working with C#, ASP.NET, WCF/API, Docker, Windows, SQL, and Azure. A highly attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a generous base salary, medical insurance, complimentary lunches, and hybrid working options, with the requirement to be in the office in Larnaca only 1 day per week.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Collaborating with development teams and program managers to design and deliver innovative, high-quality software solutions.
• Designing and implementing robust, scalable server-side architecture.
• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing databases and backend applications for performance and reliability.
• Building and maintaining efficient and well-structured APIs to support system functionality and integrations.
• Testing software to ensure high standards of performance, responsiveness, and stability.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing existing systems to improve functionality and efficiency.
• Implementing and maintaining security and data protection best practices across backend systems.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with C#, ASP.NET, WCF/API, Docker, Windows, SQL, and Azure.
• Experience using TFS or similar version control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to technical challenges.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented development environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Able to work freely in Cyprus (No Work Permits).
