CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit an Audit Senior to join their growing team based in heart of Nicosia. Reporting to the Audit Manager, you will be responsible for performing audit engagements for a range of clients, working closely with the Audit Manager. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field of study, and holders of, or those working towards a professional accounting qualification are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess 3+ years of experience in external audit, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary. Working hours are from 08:00 – 17:00 from Monday to Thursday, and from 08:00 – 14:00 each Friday.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Perform audit engagements for clients of the company.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Communication with clients via emails/phone.
• Preparation of clients´ tax returns and tax computations.
• Provide support to the Audit Manager.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Partly qualified ACA/ACCA will be considered an advantage.
• 3+ years of experience as an Auditor within an Audit Firm.
• An excellent command of Greek and English both verbal and written.
• Time management skills.
• Very good knowledge of Windows application software: MS Office, Word, Excel.
• Strong organizational, analytical, prioritization, time management, and calendar management skills.
• Good knowledge of CaseWare audit international.
