Columbia Beach Resort is seeking a reliable, vigilant and responsible Security Officer to join its Security Team. The role supports the safety and security of guests, employees and resort premises while maintaining high standards of professionalism and hospitality.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security patrols throughout the resort premises, including guest areas, staff facilities and external grounds
• Monitor CCTV systems, security alarms and access control points
• Control and monitor access to designated and restricted areas
• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies and guest or employee concerns
• Identify and report potential safety hazards, suspicious activities and security breaches
• Support the implementation of emergency procedures, including fire alarms and evacuations
• Maintain accurate security logs, incident reports and shift handover records
• Monitor the movement of visitors, contractors and deliveries in accordance with resort procedures
• Assist guests and employees in a courteous and professional manner
• Cooperate with Resort Management and other departments to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Ensure compliance with the resort’s security policies, confidentiality requirements and health & safety procedures

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in security, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment, will be considered an advantage
• Valid security guard licence or registration, where required by Cyprus legislation
• Good knowledge of security procedures and emergency response practices
• Strong observation skills, vigilance and attention to detail
• High level of integrity, responsibility and confidentiality
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in challenging situations
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and guest-oriented approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer literacy and ability to prepare incident reports
• Good command of Greek and English
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays
• First Aid or Fire Safety training will be considered an advantage
