The Nines hotel is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, organised, and guest-oriented Restaurant & Bar Manager to oversee the food and beverage operations and ensure excellent service standards across our restaurant and bar.

We are looking for a professional who can lead by example, inspire a team, maintain high operational standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere where every guest feels valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurants and bars, ensuring smooth and efficient service
• Lead, motivate, train, and supervise the food and beverage team
• Ensure consistently high standards of guest service, presentation, cleanliness, and hospitality
• Manage employee scheduling, training, performance, and team development
• Monitor stock levels, ordering, inventory, and wastage
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and responsible alcohol service requirements
• Monitor departmental costs and support revenue growth and profitability
• Coordinate with the Kitchen, Front Office, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally
• Contribute ideas to improve service quality, guest satisfaction, and the overall food and beverage experience

Requirements

• Previous experience in similar responsibilities in high end restaurant or 5 star hotel
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and excellent customer service.
• Ability to motivate a team and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of restaurant and bar operations, stock control, and cost management.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
