Junior Accountant

UXO Services Ltd is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its Finance team in Limassol. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their accounting career who wants to develop skills within a dynamic and international working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Accurate daily input of financial data and maintenance of filing documentation.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payments.
• Support the month-end closing process by preparing accrual and prepayment schedules, reconciliations and other necessary reports.
• Assist in improving finance processes and implementing automation as the business grows.
• Assist with ad-hoc requirements.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Knowledge of bank reconciliations and Accounts Payable processes.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
