CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a market-leading state-of-the-art engineering Firm with expanding operations in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Accountant with recording invoices, payments and daily accounting transactions, as well as supporting daily accounting tasks and financial reporting. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, who possess approximately 2+ years of experience in an accounting role. Previous accounting experience in the Cyprus market is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.
 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Record invoices, payments and daily accounting transactions.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
• Prepare bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documents.
• Support daily accounting tasks and financial reporting.
• Scanning and filling of documents.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Previous accounting experience in the Cyprus market is essential.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good command of Greek and English.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work as part of a team.
