We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker & Driver to join our team at MAKAROUNAS PETLAND LTD, a family-run pet wholesale and retail business based in Paphos.

This is a dynamic combined role, which includes both delivery driving and warehouse duties. The position typically involves 3 to 4 days of driving and 2 days of warehouse work per week, depending on workload and order volume.

Main Responsibilities:

Delivery Duties (Driver Role):

• Delivering pet products to pet shops across Cyprus

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles

• Ensuring orders are delivered accurately and in good condition

• Communicating professionally with customers upon delivery

• Following the planned delivery schedule, with flexibility when needed

• Collecting payments during deliveries, issuing receipts, and ensuring all related documents and cash are accurately recorded, organized, and kept secure.

Warehouse Duties:

• Picking and preparing customer orders

• Organizing stock and maintaining a clean warehouse environment

• Assisting with unloading containers when they arrive

• Handling heavy products such as cat litter, aquariums, and bulk items (with the use of equipment where possible)

Working Hours

• Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 08:00 – 18:00

  • Break: 09:00–09:30

  • Lunch: 13:00–13:30

• Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday: 08:00 – 13:00

  • Break: 09:00–09:30

• Sunday: Off

On delivery days, especially for trips to other cities (e.g., Nicosia), start times may be earlier and return times later. Any extra hours worked are always paid accordingly.

Requirements

• Valid regular driving license in Cyprus (essential)

• Ability to perform physical work and lift heavy items when needed

• Greek language is preferred; English is the minimum requirement

• Previous experience in delivery or warehouse work is an advantage, but motivated candidates with no experience will also be considered
