The Role

We are looking for a Mid/Senior Software Developer to join our expanding software development team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced software engineer/developer who is interested in expanding their expertise into low code development using the Mendix platform.

You will work on the design, development, and enhancement of business-critical applications that support our global maritime operations. While previous software development experience is essential, the role includes structured training and hands on experience to become a Mendix developer and contribute to our low code development initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain Mendix applications using Mendix Studio Pro

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine requirements

• Build domain models, microflows, pages, and integrations

• Ensure application quality through testing and debugging

• Support existing applications and resolve incidents

• Participate and contribute to Agile ceremonies and team collaboration

• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, including Mendix low code development

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 2+ years of software development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.

• Experience with REST APIs and data modelling.

• Understanding of software architecture and application design patterns.

• Experience working with Git and source control systems.

• Experience working within Agile development teams.

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.

• Willingness and enthusiasm to learn Mendix and low code development platforms.

Nice to have:

• Mendix Rapid or Intermediate Certification, or willingness to obtain certification.

• Experience with Mendix development or other low code platforms.

• Experience with Java, JavaScript, CSS, or cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Mendix Cloud.

• Experience with workflow automation and business process applications.

• Experience with Mendix Atlas UI or custom styling using SASS/CSS.

• Understanding of process optimization and business efficiency.

• Familiarity with performance measurement tools, KPIs, and reporting.

• Experience working with digital maritime platforms.

• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
