Reporting to the Head of the Accounting Department, the Accountant is responsible for building and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with new and existing Customers and achieving sales growth for the Customers based in their defined territory.

Key activities include.

• Maintain accurate accounting records.

• Code and post incoming invoices.

• Issue and post outgoing invoices.

• Prepare bank reconciliations.

• Post bank statements into the accounting software.

• Communicate with clients and agents.

• Prepare accounting-related reports and assist the supervisor with accounting tasks.

• Prepare and submit VAT and VIES reports.

• Prepare payroll.

Communication

• Assist, liaise with and support the team to ensure good working relationships and delivery of excellent Customer service.

Systems and processes

• Maintain accurate Customer records and adhere to the Data Protection Act.

• Interrogate Accounting data prior to Customer visits.

• Ensure compliance with business standards and processes.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Holder of an accounting related certificate.

• Recent relevant experience / graduates to be considered.

• Excellent command of spoken and written English.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Dynamic communication skills and high sense of responsibility.
