MSI EXPERTS LTD, based in Paphos, Cyprus, is looking for a motivated and professional Accountant to join its growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting and bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients
• Record and review sales, purchases, expenses and bank transactions
• Perform bank, debtor, creditor and other account reconciliations
• Prepare and review trial balances
• Assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Assist with payroll and Social Insurance matters where required
• Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documentation for audit purposes
• Communicate directly with clients regarding outstanding information and documentation
• Ensure accounting records are completed accurately and within the required deadlines
• Support the team with general accounting and tax-related matters

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field will be considered an advantage
• Previous experience in an accounting or audit firm will be considered a strong advantage
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Knowledge of Cyprus VAT and basic tax matters will be considered an advantage
• Very good command of both Greek and English
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounting software will be considered an advantage
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines
• Professional attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
