CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established provider of Audit & Accounting services to a large portfolio of both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit an Accounting Manager to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accounting of a portfolio of local and international clients, as well as managing a team of up to four employees. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, or another related field, and possess approximately 4+ years of relevant work experience in Client Accounting. Full members of a recognised accounting body such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, are encouraged to apply. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English are a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the accounting of a portfolio of local and international clients.
• Managing a team of up to four employees.
• Communication and resolution of any issues with clients.
• Reconciliation of banks, creditors debtors ledgers.
• Preparation of reports from the accounting software.
• Assisting in the preparation of tax forms in Taxisnet and organising payments through the Tax Portal platform.
• Preparation and submission of VAT, VIES returns.
• End to end preparation of client’s payroll.
• Documentation and filing of accounting transactions in an organized manner.
• Liaison with the audit department.
• Assisting with some internal accounting duties as required by Senior Management.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Business Management or another related field.
• Approximately 4+ years of relevant work experience in Client Accounting is essential.
• Full member of a recognised accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CPA) is desirable, but not essential.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Confident individual, able to communicate in a clear and effective manner.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
