Retail Cura is seeking an experienced and commercially minded HR Manager to lead and support the people agenda across our Head Office and retail operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and operational teams to ensure effective HR practices, strong employee engagement and full compliance with employment legislation, while supporting the continued development of our people and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development and exits.
- Oversee monthly payroll preparation and administration, ensuring accuracy of employee data, attendance, deductions, benefits and payroll changes.
- Ensure compliance with Cyprus employment legislation, Social Insurance requirements and internal HR policies.
- Provide practical advice and support to managers on employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, absence management and performance issues.
- Lead recruitment activities across Head Office and retail positions, ensuring effective and timely hiring.
- Support manpower planning, organisational structure and succession planning.
- Coordinate performance-management and annual salary-review processes.
- Manage employee benefits, annual leave, working schedules and HR administration.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and employee communications.
- Identify learning and development needs and coordinate appropriate training initiatives.
- Support employee engagement, culture and wellbeing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting, ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance.
- Monitor key HR metrics including turnover, absenteeism, recruitment and personnel costs.
- Work closely with Store Managers and operational leadership to provide hands-on HR support to the retail network.
- Support HR projects and organisational change initiatives.
- Promote and embed Retail Cura's values throughout the employee experience.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' relevant HR experience, ideally including experience in a managerial or HR Business Partner role.
- Strong practical knowledge of Cyprus employment law and HR practices.
- Experience in retail, FMCG or another multi-site environment would be considered a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of payroll processes, Social Insurance and employee benefits.
- Strong employee-relations and problem-solving capability.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance employee and business requirements.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with HR/payroll and Time & Attendance systems will be considered an advantage.
