Marks & Spencer Cyprus is looking for a Junior Accountant to join its Head Office in Nicosia.

Role Summary

The Junior Accountant supports daily accounting operations across a multi‑store retail group. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience who want to build a strong foundation in accounting, ERP systems, and retail financial controls. You will receive structured training and exposure to all core accounting cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily postings of invoices, expenses, and store transactions.
• Supplier invoice processing and basic reconciliations.
• Bank and cash checks for store takings.
• Support month‑end with schedules and documentation.
• Maintain filing and digital records.
• Assist senior team members with ad‑hoc accounting tasks.

Required Skills & Experience

• Recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Up to 2 years experience in accounting (retail/hospitality an advantage).
• Basic ERP familiarity (Navision / Business Central a plus).
• Good Excel skills (lookups, filters, pivots - training provided).
• Strong accuracy, organisation, and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a structured finance environment.
