About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing technology company specializing in financial technology solutions. With a strong and expanding client base, they are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their finance team and support their ongoing growth.

The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, bank, supplier and customer reconciliations, VAT and VIES returns, maintaining accurate accounting records, and assisting with management reports when required.

This is an onsite position based in Limassol, Cyprus, requiring the successful candidate to work from the office on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping and record accounting entries.

• Carry out bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.

• Prepare and submit VAT and VIES returns.

• Apply the correct Cyprus VAT treatment to day-to-day transactions.

• Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.

• Assist with management reports when required.

• Ensure accounting information is recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

• Maintain confidentiality of company and financial information.

• Liaise with internal departments and external parties regarding routine accounting matters.

• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of relevant practical accounting experience.

• Strong practical knowledge of Cyprus VAT and VIES.

• Good understanding of bookkeeping, accounting entries, and reconciliations.

• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Knowledge of E-Soft will be considered an advantage.

• Knowledge of Cyprus payroll will be considered an advantage.

• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
