TLC Private School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary History Teacher to join our teaching team. Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor Honours Degree in History or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching at secondary level
• Total fluency in English, both written and spoken

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for History
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, creative, and inclusive learning environment
• Familiarity with the use of technology in teaching and learning
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and assessments
• Ability to provide evidence of a clear criminal record

Key Responsibilities

• Use provided planning materials aligned with the UK National Curriculum
• Set and mark homework in accordance with school policy
• Support the academic progress and emotional well-being of pupils in the class
• Participate in the school’s assessment, recording, and reporting systems
• Observe the school’s health and safety procedures
• Support and apply the school’s discipline policy
• Attend staff meetings and parents/teachers’ meetings as required
