The Nines hotelThe Nines Hotel is looking for a people-focused and organised HR Officer to join the team.
This role suits an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and wants to provide hands-on support while contributing to a positive and engaging workplace culture.
As HR Officer, you will support the day-to-day HR operations of the hotel, working closely with management and employees across all departments to ensure effective people management and compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities

Support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to offboarding.

Coordinate recruitment activities, interviews and new employee onboarding.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR files.

Monitor attendance, leave, absences and employee documentation.

Assist with preparation of employment contracts, letters and HR correspondence.

Support payroll preparation by providing accurate employee and attendance information.

Assist managers with employee relations and day-to-day HR matters.

Promote company policies, procedures and a positive workplace culture.

Coordinate employee training, inductions and development activities.

Assist with performance management and disciplinary procedures when required.

Ensure HR practices comply with applicable employment legislation and company policies.

Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate HR databases and records.

Support employee engagement and well-being initiatives.

Handle employee matters professionally, fairly and confidentially.

Provide HR guidance and support to department heads and employees.
What We Are Looking For

Previous experience in an HR Officer, HR Administrator or similar HR role.

Good knowledge of HR practices and employment procedures.

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

High level of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Fluent English; Greek will be considered an advantage.

Knowledge of Cyprus employment legislation and HR practices will be a strong advantage.
