The Nines hotel, Ayia Napa is looking for a passionate, professional and guest-focused Duty Manager to join our team.

As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel during your shift, while maintaining the highest standards of guest service, safety and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day hotel operation during assigned shifts.

• Lead, support and motivate team members across hotel departments.

• Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns.

• Handle operational issues and make confident decisions in the absence of senior management.

• Monitor hotel standards, cleanliness, presentation and service quality.

• Coordinate effectively with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance and other departments.

• Manage special requests and guest relations.

• Ensure hotel policies, procedures and health & safety standards are followed.

• Complete shift handovers, reports and operational checks.

• Support the General Manager and senior management team with daily operations.

What we are looking for

• Previous experience in a supervisory within a hotel.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

• Professional, approachable and confident personality.

• Excellent customer-service mindset.

• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

• Good organisational and time-management skills.

• Fluent English; additional languages will be considered an advantage.

• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
