About the Role
Suonal Ltd is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Paphos. This is a hands-on role suited to a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a busy commercial environment and is comfortable owning day-to-day finance operations alongside month-end and reporting cycles.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day finance function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks.

Perform stock reconciliations, investigating variances between physical inventory and system records, and liaising with operations to resolve discrepancies.

Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

Assist with VAT returns, statutory filings, and year-end audit preparation.

Monitor cash flow and produce regular cash forecasts.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Partner with the wider business to provide financial insight and improve internal controls and processes.
Essential Requirements

Minimum five years’ experience working in a finance department.

Demonstrable experience performing stock reconciliations in a product-based business.

Strong working knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and month-end close processes.

Fluent English speaker — written and verbal.

Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations).

High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.

Eligible to work in Cyprus and willing to work from our Paphos office (this is not a remote role).
Desirable

Recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, AAT, or equivalent) — qualified or part-qualified.

Proficient user of QuickBooks.

Experience in a multi-currency environment.

Knowledge of Cypriot tax and VAT regulations.
