The Nines Hotel | Ayia Napa, Cyprus

The Nines is a contemporary luxury hotel in Ayia Napa and is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager to join its team.

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive room revenue, increase occupancy, strengthen our market presence, and build long-term relationships with key partners, travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, and other business partners.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve hotel revenue and occupancy targets.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across leisure, corporate, group and other relevant market segments.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate accounts, event organisers, and key industry partners.

• Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, presentations, and property visits.

• Manage and grow the hotel's portfolio of key accounts.

• Negotiate commercial agreements, rates, contracts, and promotional opportunities in line with the hotel's business objectives.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and customer demand and provide recommendations to management.

• Work closely with the Reservations and Front Office departments to maximise revenue opportunities.

• Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, sales missions, and industry functions, when required.

• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.

• Support the development of promotional campaigns and packages to generate additional business.

• Ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales process and maintain strong client satisfaction.

• Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Sales Manager or similar commercial role

• Strong knowledge of the Cyprus tourism and hospitality market.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven approach.

• Ability to identify opportunities, develop relationships, and convert leads into business.

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with different hotel departments.

• Professional appearance and a confident, positive attitude.

• Excellent command of English; knowledge of Greek and/or additional languages will be considered an advantage.

• Good computer skills and experience with hotel PMS/CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
