Are you an experienced trainer or assessor with a strong understanding of the Armed Forces and a passion for helping apprentices succeed?

The Colleges' Partnership is looking for an Apprenticeship Assessor to join our team in Cyprus, based in Dhekelia or Episkopi, supporting the delivery and progression of learners undertaking the HM Forces Service Person (HMFSP) apprenticeship standard.

In this role, you will work closely with apprentices throughout their programme. You will combine training, assessment, progress reviews, Functional Skills delivery, and ongoing coaching and support. You will help learners move from induction through to successful gateway, while ensuring delivery meets apprenticeship, quality, and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver training and assessment towards the HMFSP apprenticeship standard
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and support apprentices to remain on track
  • Assess apprentice work and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Deliver Functional Skills maths and/or English up to Level 2
  • Carry out initial and diagnostic assessments to identify individual learner needs
  • Act as a mentor and coach, providing information, advice, and guidance to apprentices
  • Identify barriers to progress and learners who may require additional support
  • Maintain accurate and compliant apprenticeship records and documentation
  • Coordinate and invigilate examinations as required
  • Contribute to standardisation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activity
What you will bring
  • Experience of training and assessing apprentices
  • Assessor Coach Level 4 and/or Learning & Skills Teacher Level 5 (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards
  • Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate apprentices
  • Strong organisation, time management, and digital skills
  • Experience within FE, apprenticeships, or work-based learning (advantage)

This is an opportunity to use your sector knowledge and training experience to support serving personnel through their apprenticeships while working as part of our team based in Cyprus.
