CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit and Assurance, Tax and Consulting services we are seeking to recruit a Senior Auditor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. Reporting to Senior Management, the successful applicant will be responsible for preparing permanent and current audit files for a large variety of clients, as well as supervising Audit Assistants. You will ideally hold an academic background relating to Accounting/Finance or similar field and either be a part or newly qualified member of the ACA/ACCA. You will need to possess 3+ years of previous experience in the audit profession, and be familiar with IFRS and the preparation of statutory financial statements. An attractive and competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate based on qualifications and experience, including a 13th salary and Provident Fund.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Preparation of permanent and current audit files for a large variety of clients.
• Supervision of audit assistants.
• Preparation of statutory financial statements in line with IFRS requirements.
• Review and preparation of TD4 forms.

Key Skills/Experience:  

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Part or Newly Qualified ACCA or ACA member.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the audit field.
• Familiarity and up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Sound knowledge of Caseware software.
