The role
As our On-Site Civil Engineer, you will be the driving force on the ground, bridging engineering designs and site execution. Your day-to-day work will focus on supporting efficiency, maintaining strong safety practices, and ensuring high construction standards. You will collaborate with consultants and contractors to help deliver this landmark project on time and within budget.
Key duties and responsibilities

Site Supervision: Oversee daily site works to ensure execution aligns with timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.

Compliance and Safety: Maintain strict compliance with guidelines, permits, public authorities, and Health and Safety (H&S) plans.

Technical Analysis: Interpret engineering drawings, survey reports, and technical documentation to control the construction process.

Progress Tracking: Monitor the approved program and report updates, milestones, and potential risks to the Project Manager.

Resource Management: Oversee allocated materials, equipment, and workforce efficiency.

Quality Assurance: Confirm all materials and works meet technical specifications and lead site testing activities.

Risk Mitigation: Identify potential delays or cost overruns early and update the project Risk Register.

Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate with the Project Manager, main contractor, quantity surveyors, and discipline consultants (Architect, Structural, MEP).

Financial Verification: Verify monthly evaluations and progress claims submitted by the main contractor.
Essential qualifications and experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.

Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience as a Site Engineer, Civil Engineer, or equivalent construction role.

Project Management: Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and managing structural site works.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, regulations, and QA/QC processes.

Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard engineering/scheduling software.

Teamwork: Strong ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work under tight deadlines.

Attributes: High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Bonus skills

Fluency in additional languages such as Greek, Russian, or Ukrainian.
