Emilianides Katsaros LLC, acting on behalf of its client, VEL Investment Fund AIFLNP V.C.I.C. Limited, is seeking to recruit a legal advisor to join the client’s legal team.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer and member of the Cyprus Bar Association for at least five (5) years;
• Strong expertise in Cypriot corporate and commercial law;
• Significant experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A);
• Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) from a recognized Greek university and a Master’s degree (LL.M.) from a recognized university in the United Kingdom;
• Studies or an academic background in Finance will be considered a strong advantage;
• Experience in Greek law will be considered a strong advantage;
• Excellent knowledge of both Greek and English is mandatory;
• Knowledge of a third language will be considered an additional advantage.

Work Conditions:

• The role will be performed at the client’s premises in Athens, Greece, and Nicosia, Cyprus;
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to other countries as required for the performance of the role.

• Ισχυρή εξειδίκευση στο κυπριακό εταιρικό και εμπορικό δίκαιο.
• Σημαντική εμπειρία σε συγχωνεύσεις και εξαγορές (M&A).
• Πτυχίο Νομικής (LL.B. ή ισοδύναμο) από αναγνωρισμένο ελληνικό πανεπιστήμιο και μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο (LL.M.) από αναγνωρισμένο πανεπιστήμιο του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου.
• Σπουδές ή ακαδημαϊκό υπόβαθρο στα Οικονομικά / Finance θα θεωρηθούν σημαντικό πλεονέκτημα.
• Εμπειρία στο ελληνικό δίκαιο θα θεωρηθεί σημαντικό πλεονέκτημα.
• Η άριστη γνώση της ελληνικής και της αγγλικής γλώσσας είναι απαραίτητη.
• Γνώση τρίτης γλώσσας θα θεωρηθεί πρόσθετο πλεονέκτημα.

Όροι Εργασίας:

• Η θέση θα εδρεύει στις εγκαταστάσεις του πελάτη στην Αθήνα, Ελλάδα, και στη Λευκωσία, Κύπρο.
• Απαιτείται διάθεση και ικανότητα για συχνά ταξίδια σε άλλες χώρες, στο πλαίσιο των καθηκόντων της θέσης.
