Join our team as a Senior Database Administrator and play a key role in architecting secure, highly available DB capabilities, driving our long-term technology strategy, and elevating the reliability of our global infrastructure.
Main responsibilities:

Act as primary DBA for enterprise databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MongoDB) across on-premises and cloud setups

Architect and guide configurations for High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and zero-downtime data migrations

Research and implement next-gen database technologies, deployment tools, and automation to drive efficiency

Partner with InfoSec to maintain top-tier database security, access controls, and compliance auditing
-
Mentor and develop team members through continuous feedback, targeted goal-setting, and personalized growth plans
-
Foster an open, highly motivated team culture built on active knowledge-sharing and creative problem-solving

Coordinate daily task distribution to ensure an optimized, well-balanced workload across the DBA team
-
Partner with the DBA Team Leader to set, track, and execute departmental KPIs aligned with corporate goals
-
Collaborate with internal departments to support business-critical projects and infrastructure needs
Main requirements:
-
BSc/MSc in Information Technology or any other relevant field
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in the financial services industry
-
High-level expertise in at least one major engine (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Redshift) and a deep understanding of fault-tolerant, high-availability database architectures.

Proficient in database tuning, SQL query optimization, and writing Shell scripts to automate operational workflows.

Strong technical knowledge of Linux and Windows OS, paired with hands-on experience in cloud database platforms (AWS RDS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud).

Advanced problem-solving skills with the foresight to identify areas needing security enhancements, system updates, and scheduled maintenance.

Proven leadership capability to coach, mentor, and develop team members while keeping the team motivated and focused on goals.

Native or fluent English skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts clearly for both colleagues and management.

High level of accountability, strong attention to detail, and a self-driven commitment to continuous upskilling and learning.

Highly organized and adaptable in fast-paced environments, with strong cross-functional coordination skills to build effective internal relationships.
