Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Work-mode: Hybrid (2 days from home per week)
Location: Nicosia, Cyprus
Salary: €19,500 - €26,000 gross per annum (negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications)

Our client is an established independent advisory and corporate services firm with an international presence and a strong reputation for delivering high-quality solutions to businesses, investors, and private clients across multiple jurisdictions.

The firm works with a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, including multinational organisations, investment groups, privately owned businesses, and high-net-worth individuals. Known for its personalised approach and technical expertise, the company combines professional excellence with a collaborative and people-focused culture.

The successful candidate will work with a portfolio of international clients, supporting their accounting, financial reporting, and compliance requirements. This role offers excellent exposure to international business structures and provides the opportunity to develop professionally within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Record accounting transactions, journal entries, and maintain general ledger accuracy
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform reconciliations of bank, debtor, creditor, and other control accounts
  • Support the preparation of management accounts and financial statements
  • Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors as required
  • Support the preparation of accounting records for international corporate clients
  • Contribute to ad-hoc assignments and special client projects
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable accounting standards


Requirements

  • University degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or LCCI Higher in Accounting
  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within a professional services, accounting, audit, or corporate services environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using accounting software is essential
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to work
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
