Kanika Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to join our Head Office team. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end procurement process across our hotels, with a strong focus on construction, engineering, and technical categories. This role requires excellent commercial awareness, negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders while ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research, supplier evaluations, and benchmarking analyses.
  • Prepare comparison reports and procurement recommendations.
  • Coordinate supplier agreements, contracts, and related documentation.
  • Liaise with hotels, suppliers, surveyors, contractors, and the Accounting Department to ensure efficient procurement operations.
  • Support sourcing activities, tender processes, supplier negotiations, and contract administration.
  • Monitor procurement activities and ensure compliance with company policies, budgets, and qualitystandards.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and update procurement systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a procurement, purchasing, or similar role.
  • Previous experience in the construction industry will be considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience in technical sales, particularly in construction materials, electrical/mechanical equipment, industrial supplies, adhesives, sealants, and related products, will be considered an additional advantage.
  • Familiarity with construction materials, technical specifications, contractor coordination, and procurement of related goods and services will be highly valued.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • EU citizen or holder of a valid EU work permit.

What we Offer:

  • Annual Salary: €18,000-€25,000
  • Provident fund: 5.25% after 6 months
  • Welfare Fund: will be a member of and participate in activities organized by the company welfare committee
  • Working Hours: Mon – Thu: 08:00-09:00 until 16:30-17:30 (Flexible) Friday: 08:00-09:00 until 14:00-15:00 (Flexible)
