HR & Training Manager (Head Office)-Nicosia

Marks & Spencer Cyprus a leading company in the retail industry seeks to recruit a Human Resources & Training Manager for its Marks & Spencer Head Office. The successful candidate will support to the Chief Human Recourses Officer (CHRO) in the development and implementation of HR strategies, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services across all retail operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the CHRO in executing HR strategies aligned with business objectives and retail operations
  • Oversee the day-to-day HR operations across stores and Head Office, ensuring efficient service delivery and accurate HRIS reporting
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes in collaboration with Store Managers to meet staffing needs
  • Support performance management processes, including appraisals and performance improvement plans
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning initiatives in line with the company’s development plan
  • Act as a key point of contact for employee relations, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture
  • Ensure implementation of HR policies and compliance with labour legislation, supporting audits and maintaining accurate documentation

Requirements

  • University degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Behaviour, Organizational Psychology, Economics or a related field
  • CIPD qualification or part-qualification will be considered an advantage
  • Minimum 1-3 of experience in a managerial role will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong numerical and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise workload and exercise sound judgement
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
