CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established technology company specializing in innovative automation and security solutions for residential and commercial properties across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Service Engineer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining a wide range of automation and security systems. Our client is seeking applicants who ideally possess previous experience in a technical or engineering-related role who can read and understand schematic drawings and blueprints. Experience with automation, networking, Audio/Video, or security systems will be considered an advantage, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a 13th salary.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Communicate with customers to identify and assess service requests.
• Schedule and perform on-site service visits.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare service reports after each customer visit.
• Work closely with senior engineers during complex service activities.
• Service and maintain automation, audio/video, networking, energy management, lighting, shading, and security systems.
• Ensure excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients.
• Work collaboratively as part of the engineering team.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Interest in engineering, automation, and technology.
• Previous experience in a technical or engineering-related role is considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Ability to read and understand schematic drawings and blueprints.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Clean criminal record.

Nice to Have: 

• Experience with automation, networking, Audio/Video, or security systems.
• Relevant technical certifications.
• Experience working in a similar service environment.
• Basic understanding of IP networking.
