KIK Trading Ltd was established in 1981 and is one of Cyprus' leading wholesale and retail companies. With more than 300 employees, the company imports and distributes a wide range of consumer products, including food, beverages, confectionery, tobacco products, ice cream, pet food, toys, cleaning products, and more.
In addition, KIK Trading operates a network of 50 Mini Mall Stores convenience stores across Cyprus.
The Position
We are seeking an experienced Internal Controller / Internal Auditor to strengthen our internal controls, operational procedures, and compliance framework.
The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with experience in internal audits, inventory controls, cash handling procedures, and retail or wholesale operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct operational and compliance audits across stores, warehouses, and company departments.
- Monitor inventory movements, stock variances, goods receipts, transfers, and returns.
- Review cash handling procedures, collections, deposits, and reconciliations.
- Ensure proper use of ERP and POS systems and compliance with company procedures.
- Identify operational risks, control weaknesses, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare audit reports, findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans for Management.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of internal control procedures and policies.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, such as Internal Controller, Internal Auditor, Financial Controller, Audit Officer, or Operations Controller.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Experience in inventory controls, cash controls, reconciliations, and internal procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Excellent command of both Greek and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within FMCG, retail, wholesale, logistics, or multi-site operations.
- Knowledge of Odoo, 1C, or similar ERP systems.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIA, LCCI Higher, or equivalent.
- Experience in stock takes, route controls, sales reconciliations, and field audits.
