SGS DIAGNOSTIC CENTER OF HISTOPATHOLOGY AND CYTOLOGY is seeking a Histopathology Laboratory Technologist to support diagnostic reporting by carrying out daily histopathology laboratory procedures. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Limassol, Cyprus.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily laboratory procedures related to tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, staining (including special stains and immunochemistry where applicable), and slide preparation.
• Receive and accession specimens, maintain accurate records, and ensure correct labelling and tracking of samples.
• Handle, store, and dispose of specimens according to laboratory protocols.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, perform routine quality control checks, and report any malfunctions or discrepancies promptly.
• Work closely with pathologists and colleagues.
• Follow safety and biosafety guidelines and contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory workflows.
