Established in Cyprus in 1975, Kanika Group comprises two leading subsidiaries: Kanika Hotels & Resorts and Kanika Construction. To support this vision, we are strengthening our Project Management team and are seeking professionals with strong technical expertise and a proven track record in managing complex construction projects.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs throughout the construction lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other project-related documentation.
  • Develop preliminary budget estimates during the design stage to establish project budgets and cost benchmarks.
  • Prepare tender and contract documentation, including bills of quantities, in collaboration with architects, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project costs and prepare regular cost reports throughout the construction period to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to tenders, contracts, purchases, correspondence, and associated follow-up activities.
  • Perform cost control, value engineering, and risk management assessments to optimize project performance.
  • Analyze project outcomes and prepare detailed progress and financial reports.
  • Evaluate completed works, certify valuations, and arrange payments where required.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, contractual obligations, and company procedures.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams throughout all project phases.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
  • Strong analytical, practical, and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong report-writing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn and utilize specialist quantity surveying software.
  • High attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines.
