Supply Chain Officer (Maternity Cover) (9172)
CareerFinders Recruitment Services LtdCareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Group of Companies with diverse business interests, we are seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Officer to join their growing team based in Limassol on a fixed-term maternity leave cover from July to December 2026. As a Supply Chain Officer, you will liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers, as well as assist Department Manager in negotiating contracts and pricing, whilst monitoring the quality of service provided. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Supply Chain, Shipping, Logistics or related field, with working experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or Logistics. Knowledge of logistics operations and shipping procedures and documents is essential, as well as a solid understanding of international logistics processes and procedures.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Match forecasted levels of customer demand, with contracted supply to ensure and plan orders accordingly.
- Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers.
- Act as an escalation point of contact for issues relating to order accuracy and quality.
- Assist Department Manager in negotiating contracts and pricing while monitoring the quality of service provided.
- Produce and present various reports and statistics for upper Management.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency of shipping operations, invoicing, record keeping and inventories.
- Proactively work with Department Manager to identify issues and provide long term solutions.
- Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies.
Key Skills/Experience:
- BSc/BA in a Supply Chain, Shipping, Logistics or related field will be considered an advantage.
- Experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
- Knowledge of logistics operations and shipping procedures and documents.
- Solid knowledge of international logistics procedures.
- Computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Office (strong Excel), Microsoft Navision will be considered a plus.
- Good understanding of budgeting and reporting.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills, excellent team player.
