Medicover Genetics Business Unit is seeking to recruit a passionate and self-motivated Accountant, to join our dynamic group of experts. Collaborating closely with all the departments will drive our business growth.

This role will report to the Finance Director, Medicover Genetics and the successful candidate will be based in Cyprus.

You will be involved in the following processes:

• Preparation of the Company’s accounting records

• Preparation of management accounts and reports on a monthly / quarterly basis

• Handling of tax and VAT statutory filings

• Monitoring / improving internal controls and processes

• Preparation and monitoring of annual budget and financial forecasts for departments / entities / group

• Maintain and monitor cash flow and cost management procedures

• Ensuring compliance with financial accounting standards and regulations

• Reporting to Group Finance for consolidation purposes

• Compliance with statutory submissions and returns

• Liaising with third parties, external auditors, vendors, clients, bankers

• Assisting with ad hoc projects relating to financial matters

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or in a related field

• Professional Accounting qualification or working towards obtaining accounting qualification

• Knowledge of Cyprus tax and VAT

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• High attention to detail

• Computer literacy, particularly with CaseWare, Microsoft Excel, and Word

• Fluency in Greek and English language is necessary

• Excellent communication skills and to be able to be part of a team

• Can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
