Philippou Law Firm is looking to recruit a Mid-Level Corporate Lawyer to join our growing Corporate & Commercial Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious lawyer who wishes to develop within a dynamic legal environment, handle high-quality corporate work, and be part of a team advising both local and international clients on a wide range of corporate, commercial, regulatory and transactional matters.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be involved in, among others:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating corporate and commercial agreements;
• Advising clients on company law, corporate governance and commercial matters;
• Handling company incorporations, restructurings, share transfers and corporate changes;
• Preparing board resolutions, shareholder resolutions, minutes and other corporate documentation;
• Assisting with mergers and acquisitions, due diligence exercises and transactional work;
• Liaising with clients, accountants, auditors, regulators, banks and other professionals;
• Supporting clients with ongoing corporate compliance and legal advisory matters;
• Working closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex corporate and commercial projects.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• A law degree and admission to the Cyprus Bar Association;
• Approximately 3–5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in corporate, commercial or transactional law;
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus company law and corporate procedures;
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills;
• Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and spoken;
• Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines and work independently;
• A professional, organised and client-focused approach;
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to take initiative.
