Actuarial Analyst, Nicosia - AA/06/26

Join a dynamic Actuarial team where your expertise will directly contribute to key business decisions and strategic initiatives. Our client, a well-established and reputable insurance organization with a strong presence in the life insurance sector, is seeking to further strengthen its Nicosia-based team through the addition of experienced actuarial professionals.

Main responsibilities

In this role, you will apply your experience to perform actuarial calculations and analyses across areas such as reserving, solvency, profitability, and embedded value. You will also play an active role in regulatory reporting and support the company in meeting its actuarial and regulatory requirements, while continuing to develop your skills within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Skills & Qualifications

• University degree in Actuarial Science or a related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably within the Life Insurance sector
• Progress in actuarial examinations and/or qualification from a recognised Actuarial Association will be considered an advantage
• Familiarity with IFRS 17 accounting standards and Solvency II regulatory requirements will be considered an advantage
• Exposure to the Prophet actuarial system and knowledge of VBA will be considered an advantage
• Excellent command of both Greek and English
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently and take initiative
• Collaborative mindset with a strong team-oriented approach

Reward package

The Company offers a competitive remuneration package, with an annual salary package in the range of €35.000–€50.000, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
