POSITION SUMMARY:

The role of the Revenue Analyst is to assist the Revenue Manager in carrying out day-to-day tasks that help the company maximize hotel revenue through inventory management, positioning, and rate controls in COD Mediterranean. Producing and maintaining management reports to proactively monitor room performance, room occupancy, and sales and to propose strategies for revenue optimization. Will be in-charge of maintaining the hotels database and perform revenue management tasks as assigned by the Revenue Manager for the mentioned company property.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares daily pick up and pace reports for both gaming and non-gaming channels.
  • Proactively manages room inventory and rate deployment through various sales.
  • channels and platforms to ensure occupancy and revenue are optimized.
  • In the absence of the Revenue Manage, sets public rates, supervise group evaluations.
  • Conducts and furnishes simple analysis such as historic and future booking to aid decision-making process.
  • Identifies holiday periods and events ensuring these peaks and troughs are correctly priced and inventory is managed.
  • Prepares property-level periodic reports of key performance indicators and interprets prevailing trends for review by management.
  • Conducts routine maintenance of hotel database.
  • Analyses performance at various levels and communicates drivers and recommendations to management.
  • Develops a harmonious relationship with operational teams so that all parties are aligned with strategies.
  • Performs any other projects or tasks as assigned by the Senior Manager, Hotel Revenue Management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

  • Knowledge in Business Intelligence and Analytics tools such as SAS/SPSS/R.
  • Preferably candidate in 1 to 2 years of experience in Hospitality or Gaming industry is given priority.
  • Proven track record in highly numerate and analytics projects.

Education

  • Tertiary Qualifications in mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science or marketing

Skills / Competencies

  • English language skills mandatory
  • Strong familiarity with OTAs and distribution systems
  • Knowledge in OPERA-PMS is an advantage.
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skill.
  • Comprehends data structure of various systems downloads, integrations and processes
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
