We are currently seeking an experienced Senior IT Audit Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will assume a leading role in delivering high-quality IT audit services across multiple engagements, providing technical expertise, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring adherence to the highest professional and audit standards.

The Opportunity:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT audit engagements, with a strong focus on understanding clients’ IT environments, processes, and risk landscapes, particularly for systems that host, process, or transmit financial data.
  • Identify and evaluate relevant IT applications supporting key business processes.
  • Assess the design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of General IT Controls (GITCs) and their linkage to automated application controls.
  • Oversee the collection and evaluation of audit evidence, ensuring robust and well-supported conclusions.
  • Review and challenge audit work performed by team members, maintaining a high standard of audit quality and professional skepticism.
  • Evaluate audit findings, assess their impact on the overall engagement, and communicate key insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure completion of comprehensive, high-quality audit documentation in line with firm and regulatory standards.
  • Apply and oversee the use of Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques/Software Audit Tools (CAATs/SATs):
  • Drive the use of firm-approved tools and innovative technologies to enhance audit efficiency, quality, and data insights.
  • Supervise data extraction, transformation, and analysis processes for audit engagements.
  • Lead initiatives to automate and optimize audit procedures through advanced data analytics.
  • Apply a high level of professional judgment, skepticism, and independence in identifying and resolving complex data and control issues.

The Requirements:

  • University degree with grade 2:1 or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT Audit, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Experience within the Financial Services industry, as well as exposure to Internal and/or External Audit, will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of Information Security principles and control frameworks (e.g., COBIT).
  • Certifications such as CISA will be considered as an advantage.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA (required or in progress).
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken).
