Philippou Law Firm, a well-established law firm based in Paphos, is seeking to recruit a Junior Corporate Administrator to join its Corporate Department.

The successful candidate will support the Corporate Department with the day-to-day administration of Cyprus companies and will work closely with lawyers, senior corporate administrators, clients, accountants, auditors, banks and public authorities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate’s duties will include, among others:

  • Assisting with the incorporation and administration of Cyprus private limited liability companies;
  • Preparing and filing corporate forms and documents with the Registrar of Companies;
  • Assisting with the maintenance and updating of statutory records, registers and corporate files;
  • Preparing simple board resolutions, minutes, powers of attorney and other corporate documents under supervision;
  • Assisting with UBO registrations and updates;
  • Collecting and organising KYC / AML documentation from clients;
  • Liaising with clients, accountants, auditors, banks and governmental authorities under the guidance of senior team members;
  • Assisting with bank account opening procedures and related compliance requirements;
  • Supporting the Corporate Department with annual company maintenance matters and general corporate secretarial tasks;
  • Providing general administrative support to the Corporate Department.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a corporate administration, legal, accounting or office administration role will be considered an advantage;
  • Basic knowledge of Cyprus company procedures and Registrar of Companies filings will be considered an advantage;
  • Good knowledge of Greek and English, both written and spoken;
  • Strong organisational and communication skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally;
  • Professional attitude and team spirit;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
