About the Role
We are seeking a commercially driven International BDM to support institutional growth across the UK & EU region.
The core objective of this role is to contribute directly to sustainable revenue growth through institutional client acquisition, portfolio development, and long-term partnership support. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a strong pipeline of prospects, converting opportunities into active relationships, and supporting client retention by ensuring a high standard of engagement throughout the lifecycle.
This role requires a proactive approach to market outreach, disciplined pipeline management, and close collaboration with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless client experience from origination through onboarding and ongoing account support.
Key Responsibilities
- Identiy and engage institutional prospects through targeted outreach and relationship-building initiatives.Drive new business opportunities that contribute to incremental revenue growth and portfolio expansion.
- Support the development of high-quality client relationships aligned with long-term commercial value.
- Coordinate closely with Onboarding, Compliance, Trading, Finance, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth client activation and operational efficiency.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients to strengthen retention and encourage ongoing trading activity.
- Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for cross-sell and strategic expansion.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and clear pipeline visibility to support forecasting and performance tracking.
- Contribute market intelligence and client feedback to inform business development planning and regional growth initiatives.
- Represent the firm professionally in client meetings, industry events, and external engagements.
Skills & Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in institutional sales, financial services outreach, or business development.
- Strong understanding of institutional client needs within financial markets.
- Demonstrated ability to originate business, nurture relationships, and support recurring revenue growth.
- Structured and disciplined approach to pipeline and account management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a focus on long-term partnership development.
