CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a Cloud-native software solutions company with expanding operations in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join their growing team. As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with the delivery team to translate business requirements into comprehensive test plans and robust strategies. As part of your role, you will execute and monitor manual functional and regression tests to verify that software solutions meet performance, usability, and technical standards. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Computer Science, or another closely related field, who possess approximately 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. You will need to hold sound knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies (SDLC & Agile), software architecture, and programming concepts. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the delivery team to translate business requirements into comprehensive test plans and robust strategies.
• Execute and monitor manual functional and regression tests to verify that solutions meet performance, usability, and technical standards.
• Identify, document, and drive the resolution of defects.
• Produce and maintain accurate test documentation and reporting while enhancing testing coverage and processes.
• Ensure solutions meet industry and legal standards and promote a culture of quality across the development lifecycle.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Educated to degree level in Computer Science, or another closely related field.
• 2-4 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role within a software company.
• Proficiency in software testing principles and methodologies (SDLC & Agile), software architecture, and programming concepts.
• Familiarity with transactional, high-volume systems.
• CI/CD tools & scripting languages knowledge.
• Web & mobile testing experience.
• API testing experience.
• Experience with Linux environments is desirable.
