Junior Accountant

Role overview

As a Junior Accountant, you will support day-to-day accounting activities, with a focus on bank movements, payables follow-up, reconciliations, and accurate entry of accounting records.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily bank account movements and post the necessary accounting entries in a timely manner.
• Monitor and follow up on accounts payable.
• Reconcile vendors’ statements, customer invoices, and vendors’ monthly settlements.
• Perform various accounting entries in the system (fixed Assets).
• Support other related accounting and internal control activities as needed.

Requirements

• University degree in Economics or Accounting and Finance.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Fluency in spoken and written Greek and English.

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 17:30
