CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of cutting-edge telecommunications solutions to a global client base, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Penetration Tester to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be responsible for assessing and exploiting systems with real world scenarios focusing on existing vulnerabilities or misconfigurations within systems. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, who possess proven experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, and who hold certifications such as OSCP, CPTS, CBBH, LPT, or similar. You will need to have knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and JavaScript, as well as experience in mobile, web, and infrastructure penetration testing. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts are a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Assess and exploit systems with real world scenarios focusing on existing vulnerabilities or misconfigurations.
• Construct detailed reports addressing every security issue found and explaining the issue in detail for the client to fully understand.
• Prepare and launch of vulnerability analysis using manual and automatic tools.
• Collaborate with clients for issues that might not have a fix to find a workaround and help them complete the remediation phase.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• OSCP, CPTS, CBBH, LPT or similar certification.
• Knowledge in programming languages, C, C++, Python, JavaScript.
• Knowledge in Mobile, Web and infrastructure penetration testing.
• Proven experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and web application security.
• Proficiency with penetration testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with programming and scripting languages to create custom testing tools or automate processes.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
