About Palm Beach Resort

Palm Beach Resort marks the transformation of a historic Cypriot landmark into a premier destination for contemporary luxury. Located on the pristine beachfront of Larnaca, the resort is being developed into a five-star hospitality experience that reflects a refined blend of timeless elegance and modern design. The property will comprise 159 upscale guestrooms, 21 private bungalows, and a residential tower with 30 luxury apartments. Position Overview

We are seeking to recruit an HR Manager for Palm Beach Resort to lead the Human Resources function during the hotel’s pre-opening, opening, and post-opening phases.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute all HR activities during the hotel’s pre-opening and operational phases
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job advertising, agency coordination, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection
  • Collaborate with department heads and hotel management on manpower planning and recruitment timelines
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and onboarding practices
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, induction, and orientation programs
  • Support the implementation of performance management and employee evaluation systems
  • Ensure compliance with Cyprus labor law, employment regulations, and company policies
  • Handle employee relations matters, Union complaints, investigations, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution
  • Coordinate non-EU employment procedures, work permits, and related documentation where required
  • Assist in employee accommodation coordination and employee welfare matters
  • Monitor HR metrics and prepare relevant reports for management
  • Support succession planning and organizational development initiatives
  • Supervise, guide, and support HR team members, ensuring effective delegation and execution of daily HR operations
  • Organize and prioritize HR departmental activities to ensure smooth and efficient operation
  • Provide leadership and direction to the HR team in alignment with company objectives and hotel operational needs


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years of HR experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Previous pre-opening hotel experience will be considered a strong advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Cyprus Labour Law and HR best practices
  • Experience managing recruitment campaigns and high-volume hiring
  • Experience handling non-EU employment procedures will be considered an advantage
  • Fluency in English and Greek is required
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Strong communication, leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding pre-opening environment
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and problem-solving ability
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and effectively delegate responsibilities within the HR team
