Key Responsibilities (Compliance and AML)

• Act as the Company’s AML and Compliance Officer.
• Prepare and submit Compliance and AML reports to the Board of Directors, Senior Management, and regulatory bodies, including the Annual Compliance Officer’s Report.
• Develop, implement, and oversee compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with AML/CFT and sanctions regulations.
• Conduct KYC/CDD checks, perform risk assessments, and monitor transactions.
• Prepare reports and required documentation for submission to relevant authorities and regulators.
• Prepare legal opinions related to AML/CFT and sanctions regulations.
• Oversee AML/CFT training and ensure appropriate staff awareness.

Corporate Responsibilities

• Manage clients’ corporate-related matters.
• Assist with legal matters such as company incorporations, re-domiciliations, company liquidations, and other corporate-related matters.
• Prepare and submit corporate client-related filings and update relevant registers (e.g., change of officers/shareholders/UBO register, etc.).
• Obtain certificates from the Registrar of Companies.
• Prepare minutes for client companies.
• Maintain legal files and records for client companies.
• Review, draft, revise, and finalise legal agreements and documentation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in the corporate sector.
• At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in AML/CFT and compliance within entities regulated under EU AML legislation.
• LLB (Bachelor of Laws) or equivalent.
• A recognised AML qualification such as the CySEC AML Certificate, or an equivalent qualification.
• Fluent knowledge of Greek and English, both written and oral. Additional languages will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent use of Microsoft Office Suite.
