The Role

We are building and scaling our next-generation mobile e-wallet and business financial applications, enabling real-time payments, account management, and merchant services across multiple regions.

As a Senior Flutter Developer, you will take technical ownership of the mobile application architecture, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and production-grade mobile solutions. You will work closely with backend engineers (.NET / Java), product managers, QA, and compliance stakeholders to deliver high-quality applications in a regulated financial environment.

This role requires strong architectural thinking, disciplined engineering practices, and the ability to drive quality and accountability within the mobile team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex mobile features using Flutter
• Define and enforce mobile architecture standards and best practices
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from design through release and post-production support
• Design scalable state management and modular app structures
• Ensure secure implementation of authentication, authorisation, and sensitive data handling
• Collaborate with backend teams to define API contracts and improve system reliability
• Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor mid-level developers
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and test automation coverage
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, including performance bottlenecks
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and data protection requirements
• Contribute to technical planning, estimation, and roadmap discussions

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of mobile development experience, including significant hands-on Flutter & Dart experience
• Proven track record delivering production mobile applications at scale
• Expertise in Flutter architecture patterns (BLoC, Riverpod, Provider, Clean Architecture, etc.)
• Experience designing modular, testable, and maintainable codebases
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and real-time data handling
• Strong knowledge of secure mobile development practices and platform-specific security considerations
• Experience with mobile performance profiling and optimisation
• Solid experience with unit, widget, and integration testing
• Experience managing App Store and Google Play release processes
• Git workflow knowledge and CI/CD experience
• Ability to work independently and drive technical decisions
• Proficient written and verbal English

Nice-to-have

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or other regulated environments
• Experience implementing KYC flows, payment processing, or transaction-heavy systems
• Experience with push notifications, deep linking, and secure session management
• Knowledge of mobile app hardening, encryption, and anti-tampering techniques
• Experience leading mobile teams
