At current, bbf: is expanding the internal team, and we are looking for a QA/QC Inspector to join our Development Department in Limassol office.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Daily site inspections at all stages of construction;
- Implementing procedures of issues identification, preventing and solving;
- Ensure the implementation of quality control system and company procedures;
- Improvement of the efficiency of the work of contractors and subcontractors, according to company Method Statements and procedures / acceptance criteria / tolerances;
- Ensure that Construction Works followed up with the latest drawings, specifications, AIs, CVIs, RFIs, and acceptance criteria / tolerances;
- Checklists completion through Quality Software according to Quality Inspections Register - ITPs of the Project and update the Bi-Weekly Quality Inspections Schedule per project;
- Preparation of the necessary reporting to the Senior QA/QC Manager (Observations Progress Report through Quality Software, Bi-Weekly update of Inspections Register of the Project, Observations Report, Monthly Major Quality Issues Reporting);
- Quality control of construction projects and daily Pre-Inspections, Inspections and supervision;
- Participation to the Snagging / Handover process of the projects and assist QA/QC Managers and Senior QA/QC Manager;
- Reporting immediately any Construction violations to the Senior QA/QC Manager;
- Assist Senior QA/QC Manger for Quality control matters and Technical improvement;
- Follow up Quality Meetings with QA/QC Managers and Senior QA/QC Manager.
- Participate in all Progress Meetings / Technical Meetings of his / her assigned projects and provide checks / inspections / advice to all Quality Issues from Construction to Delivery.
Requirements for the position:
- An Engineering Degree. A Civil Engineer or Architect Bachelor degree is considered as an advantage;
- At least 2 years’ experience at a construction site. QC experience will be considered as an advantage;
- Fluency in written and spoken in English is a must, Greek and/or Russian will be considered as an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of construction norms and rules.
- Excellent knowledge of European Standards, Eurocodes and ISO standards.
- Experience of technical supervision and control over observance of specifications.
- Multitask person.
- Attention to detail.
- Reporting skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office interaction and knowledge.
- AutoCAD knowledge.
- Knowledge of construction software (PlanRadar, ProCore, PlanGrid, Fieldwire, Viewpoint...etc).
