Golden Coast Hotel 4*, a leading hospitality destination in Protaras, is seeking to recruit a Butcher for the season 2026 to join our team and and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats according to specifications
- Prepare portion-controlled cuts for restaurants and banquet
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of all meat products
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels and minimize waste
- Inspect meat products for quality and freshness
- Follow all health, safety, and HACCP guidelines
- Collaborate with chefs to meet menu and event requirements
Qualification and Experience:
- Proven experience as a butcher, preferably in a hotel
- Strong knowledge of meat cuts, preparation techniques, and food safety standards
- Knowledge of English and/or Greek language
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina
- Culinary certification (preferred but not mandatory)
- Positive, engaging personality
- Professional appearance & attitude
