Golden Coast Beach Hotel

Golden Coast Hotel 4*, a leading hospitality destination in Protaras, is seeking to recruit a Butcher for the season 2026 to join our team and and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats according to specifications
  • Prepare portion-controlled cuts for restaurants and banquet
  • Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of all meat products
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • Monitor inventory levels and minimize waste
  • Inspect meat products for quality and freshness
  • Follow all health, safety, and HACCP guidelines
  • Collaborate with chefs to meet menu and event requirements

Qualification and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a butcher, preferably in a hotel
  • Strong knowledge of meat cuts, preparation techniques, and food safety standards
  • Knowledge of English and/or Greek language
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good physical stamina
  • Culinary certification (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Positive, engaging personality
  • Professional appearance & attitude
