The Opportunity:

• Lead and manage tax compliance and advisory projects for local and international clients
• Provide expert guidance in Cyprus and international tax legislation
• Advise clients on tax strategies to optimize their tax position
• Provide tax assistance on tax implications of business decisions such as mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations
• Keeping up to date with all developments in the field of direct taxation
• Regularly reporting to the Engagement Partner about the status, progress, and completion of work

The Requirements:

• University degree (preferably in Finance or Law) with grade 2:1 or equivalent in any discipline
• Professional qualification (ACA or ACCA) will be considered an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation and international tax principles
• More than 6 years of experience in direct tax, preferably in a professional services firm
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages (written and spoken)
• IT literacy
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Attention to detail and drive to deliver quality work
• Commitment to continuous professional development and a proactive approach to staying current with tax legislation and industry best practices
